	Pioneer Travel is owned and operated by John and Brenda Whitehead, who have been in the business since 1983.
	Their base in Rochdale means that they are ideally situated to access all the main motorway networks, very quickly.
	Bus hire is available from Pioneer but the main part of their business is rail replacement coaches; working with train operating companies, when trains are unable to run. They have a high level of experience, in organising fast, efficient responses, in what are very often emergency situations.
	John and Brenda are always looking to improve their service and to this end have installed a specially designed, computerised, route and duty system, which helps them to run their company more effectively. They have trained staff who have wide experience in the transport industry and a database of hundreds of approved operators, who work with them on rail replacement and bus hire.
